Actually runs true to size. Generally I go a size down with oversized things and these are perfect.

definitely not lifting pants

These are definitely not lifting pants. I wear a size XS at 5'1" tall, and they fit very loosely in the legs. But when I get sweaty and want to squat, these pants restrict me; I have to pull them up every now and then.
