It's time to celebrate the women who have shaken up the female fitness industry and made 2023 a year to remember.
This April, we're beyond excited to announce the launch of our brand new industry awards: Gym Girl of The Year - a yearly initiative that stands to celebrate the women in the fitness industry who inspire, educate, and hype us year round.
They might be a well-known face in the fitness world, or they might be your gym bestie who never lets you skip leg day. But one thing's for certain, they deserve to be appreciated, and celebrated.

How It Works:
Honouring the gym girls who have changed the game over the past 12 months, helping to inspire a new generation that will shape the future of the industry, Gym Girl of The Year celebrates 4 new awards.
You, as our community, have the power to vote for any woman you think is deserving of one of those titles. But, don’t think about it too long, voting closes April 10th, so start submitting your nominations for your Gym Girl of the Year.

Award: Fan Fave
This girl is keeping you entertained and inspired outside of the gym. Her content makes you laugh and feel all the feels. She’s a girl’s girl and lives for spreading good vibes online. She hypes up the entire female community, not just gym girlies.
Award: Hype Girl
New post? She’s liked it. New event? She’s shared it. This gym girl doesn’t have to be an influencer or BNOC, she’s someone from the gym girl community, always hyping you up in the comments, resharing your content, supporting your story and inspiring you with hers.
Award: Girl Gains
This gym girl has grafted. The last 12 months she’s built an engaged community by creating bad b relatable content, and has no plans to slow down. Keep bossing it girl.
Award: One To Watch
This gym girl is no longer the new kid on the block. She’s taking over the whole damn city. She might be fairly new to the gym girl community, but she’s sure smashing glass ceilings and is definitely one to watch.
You don’t have to nominate someone for every category, but you do need to give a little reason as to why you’ve nominated them (we wanna know why they’re awesome). These are your awards, from one Gym Girl (or Bro) to another.
What Do They Win?
We’re glad you asked. Each category winner will be given a physical award and invited for an all-expenses paid photoshoot at the Gymshark Lifting Club with a celebrity photographer (soon to be announced).
They’ll also have the opportunity to attend our IRL awards afterparty at Gymshark Regent St. and mingle with other winners, talent and community, to celebrate all of the incredible wins and moments for women in the fitness industry.

Who Can I Nominate?
There’s different categories for different types of Gym Girls. You can vote (depending on the category) for anyone (from any country) as long as they identify as female. From A-listers to your gym bestie!
How Do I Nominate Someone For Gym Girl Of The Year?

Are Men Allowed To Vote?
Of course! Men are welcomed to nominate any woman they think is worthy for one of the awards. You can vote in one category, or all five!
When Do Nominations Open/Close?
You won't want to miss this. Voting opens on April 3rd, 2024, and closes April 10th, 2024, so be quick!
What Info Do I Need To Nominate Someone?
First thing's first. You'll need the basics: their name, and their social handle. But the most important piece of info we'll need is just a small reason as to why you think this Gym Girl is deserving of the award title.
Has she inspired you through her TikTok content? Has she helped you reach a new PR with a sick song? Has she never let you miss leg day? Whatever your reason. We want to know why.
What Does The Nominee Win?
A physical award for their category, a photoshoot with a celebrity photographer (yet to be announced) and the opportunity to attend the awards afterparty at Gymshark Regent St!
Who Is Reviewing Nominations?
Nominations will be reviewed by an internal panel of women here at Gymshark. Winners will be based on the following criteria: a) number of votes, b) reason for nomination.
